About Andrews Farm

Andrews Farm is bounded by Curtis Road in the north, Stebonheath Road and a line running continuous of Stebonheath Road in the east, Petherton Road in the south, and Andrews Road in the west. The suburb is named after early property holders in the area.

The area began development primarily from the 1980’s, however the main growth of the area took place from the early 1990’s. The population trebled between 1991 and 2006 due to large numbers of new dwellings being added to the area. Growth is expected to continue, with potential for future development in the south of the suburb.

Andrews Farm is a developing residential area. The lakes area an integral part of the City’s waste water control system. Stebonheath Park, surrounding lakes, Andrews Park and St Columba College are some of the major features of the suburb.

The median age of people in Andrews Farm is 25 years with children aged 0 -14 making up 30.4% of the population and residents over 65 years populating 3.1% of the suburb.
